Grupo Lappí gets the Carbon Footprint Certification by Ecologic Transition Ministry

Grupo Lappi's commitment to sustainability and environmental care has been awarded once more. The Ecologic Transition and Demographic Challenge Ministry has highlighted the effort of the label printing leader to fight against climate change. As a result, the company has been included in a registry created by the 163/2014 Royal Decree that features corporations with a strong commitment towards calculating and reducing greenhouse gas emissions generated by their activities to meet the European Union requirements.

This certification acknowledges the efforts made by the company, the leader in the label printing in Iberia, to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions.

The Carbon Footprint certification has a double purpose: it facilitates companies to demonstrate they're part of the registry. In the second place, it shows the efforts made by the companies that fight against climate change.

To get certified, Grupo Lappi calculated its carbon footprint and committed to moving forward and reducing the environmental impact of its activities. All the registered footprints must be accompanied by a plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and authorities properly check them before being included in the registry.
