This new supply includes two V-S90, the well-known single facer which has proven over the years its unique ability to adapt to evolving production needs and market trends, in relation to orders, papers, and flute changes, and a Vantage Double Facer, equipped with VaryPress, the unique heat transfer system that allows variable pressure across the machine, providing a consistent heat transfer, efficient temperature control and optimum bonding.As a matter of fact, the collaboration between La Rochette and Agnati dates back to long ago and has been further strengthened by the recent investments.
La Rochette is a privately owned corrugated board producer, established in 1946 in Dakar.
The Company manufactures a broad range of packaging solutions, including corrugated products that are sold to the Senegalese and nearby markets for the agricultural, food, cosmetics, chemical, pharmaceutical and tobacco sectors.
Over the last years the Company has invested largely in European equipment with the aim to grow as a leader supply of high-technology corrugated packaging solutions.
Their commitment to large-scale investments on their corrugator is part of this ambitious project to introducing world-class products to brand owners who use paper based packaging material.
“The combination of sustainability focused technology and innovative design of the BP Agnati wet-end equipment coupled with the successful installation of the dry-end machines in 2013 made it an easy decision to partner with BP Agnati on this phase of our corrugator upgrade project” -explains Mr Salhab, CEO of La Rochette - “We decided to invest in high technology European-made equipment to stay at the market forefront , setting new standards for performance packaging, and to supply added value to our Customers like Philip Morris International of which La Rochette Dakar is the only approved supplier in West Africa for printing. We identified BP Agnati as the best possible partner for us and the results achieved until now are extremely satisfactory” .
The Management of BP Agnati, reports to be particularly satisfied of the recent business developments in Senegal and the prospects associated with them. In particular they feel that this strong partnership with La Rochette will help to expand their presence in West African market.
