Artelito specializes in manufacturing high-quality brochures, catalogs, books, coffee-table books, folding cartons, and other cardboard packaging, with expert finishing and embellishments. With a dedicated team of 55 employees, the company also boasts a rich tradition in producing popular puzzles. Print production runs on five B1 sheetfed offset presses featuring a total of 33 printing units. As an innovative company, Artelito is committed to enhancing process efficiency and delivering consistently top-quality results through advanced tools. For nearly two decades, the printer has relied on Kodak CTP and plate technology, currently printing with KODAK ELECTRA MAX Thermal Plates. Digital prepress is seamlessly managed via the KODAK PRINERGY Workflow Platform.
Changes in the size, structure, and volume of print jobs have driven an increased demand for printing plates. As a result, Artelito recognized the need to expand its digital plate imaging capacity with an additional CTP device. The choice of a new CTP solution from Kodak was an obvious one, given the company's excellent experience with the quality and operational reliability of an existing MAGNUS Q800 Platesetter and its high-precision KODAK SQUARESPOT Imaging Technology.
“Our renewed commitment to Kodak is rooted in our excellent experience with their CTP and printing plate technology. Additionally, we greatly appreciate that Kodak regularly provides updates for our prepress system, optimally trains our people, and supports us with highly qualified service and support,” stated Stefano Clementoni, President of Artelito.
The new MAGNUS Q800 Platesetter with X speed and SCU is expected to strengthen Artelito's platemaking operations from December 2025.
