From 31 January, the Esko team will be at the heart of the Software Village at the Eurexpo exhibition center in Lyon, with demonstrations and discussions underlining the importance of digitizing, automating and connecting people and processes to meet the challenges of today and prepare for those of tomorrow.“From the energy crisis and the erosion of margins to material shortages and labor and skills deficits, we know there are many significant challenges for businesses today,” said Isabelle Manche, Regional Business Director France & Benelux at Esko. “It is now imperative that companies review their current business operations and identify areas where they can make meaningful improvements and drive operational efficiencies in order that they not only survive but thrive.
“With today’s brands and packaging suppliers facing a catalog of potentially crippling challenges, we have developed our latest software innovations specifically to make it easier for people and processes to connect, to automate operations and to drive operational improvements,” said Isabelle. “We now look forward to demonstrating to C!Print visitors how Esko has developed its latest software version with these challenges in mind.
“We are bringing to market new technological developments that will advance the industry, helping businesses form a foundation to identify waste, mitigate risk and optimize opportunity while preparing for the predicted megatrends of 2023.
“For example, we know the manual reseparation of images and artwork to match brands’ color accuracy demands can be a laborious and error-prone process,” said Isabelle. “With the recent introduction of our new GMG OpenColor Connector in Esko ArtPro+, we are creating a smoother and more efficient color conversion process for packaging and label printers. The ArtPro+ GMG OpenColor Connector enhances the connectivity and data crosstalk between the two class-leading solutions. This integration ensures uninterrupted file processing and color conversion, without losing mission-critical metadata between systems – allowing both solutions to operate at their best,” she said.
“We’ll also be spotlighting the latest updates in ArtiosCAD, the world’s most popular structural design software,” said Isabelle. “With this latest version, Esko is the first to bring to market the new FEFCO design style standards as parametric tools, and we’ll also show how it is now integrated into the complete automated workflow alongside Studio and ArtPro+.
“Following our recent acquisition of Tilia Labs, Esko is also delivering on the need of brand owners and converters to connect and integrate the entire value chain through upstream digitalization. We look forward to demonstrating at C!Print how Tilia Labs’ tilia Phoenix solution has been integrated into our latest software version. Featuring intelligent algorithms for sheet layout, estimation and planning, this underlines our commitment to delivering integrated software and hardware solutions that accelerate the go-to-market process for consumer packaged goods.”
Isabelle said the team would also showcase other automated workflow improvements, such as new multi-MIS support in Esko Automation Engine SaaS and new configuration tools in WebCenter that improve user experience.
Isabelle Manche will be amongst the guest speakers at this year’s C!Print event, both as part of a roundtable discussion on ‘The dynamics of the label market: what are the perspectives for printers’, on 31 January at 2pm, and again at 2pm on 1 February when she presents a comprehensive look at how DB Groupe is continuing its digital journey with Esko workflow automation and Ethic CRM integration.
From 31 January to 2 February, the C!Print trade show brings together a community of professionals in search of inspiration and innovative solutions at the Eurexpo exhibition Center in Lyon.
The Esko booth, #1C20, can be found at the heart of the Software Village, an area where visitors can find answers to all their questions about web-to-print, automation workflows and graphic design with plenary sessions, pitches and masterclasses to complete the experience.
