Stimulated by the success of the 2014 FESPA Mexico event, and by interest in Mexico as one of the global high-growth economies, an increasing number of key international brands wish to participate directly in order to find regional partners and engage with the event's well-defined audience of senior Mexican print decision-makers.57% of current international exhibitors are first time participators at FESPA Mexico, with principal exhibitors including Arlon Graphics, Bordeaux, Chemica and Smartcolor. International brands are also signalling their confidence in the FESPA event through sponsorship, with MS confirmed as Solutions Partner and Mutoh as Wrap Masters Sponsor.
Daniel Castro, Director for Latin America, Arlon, comments: "Over the last 2 years Arlon has evolved tremendously. We felt that we needed to expand our brand in a market that is very important to us; Mexico is our largest market in Latin America and Arlon has been privileged to participate in FESPA Mexico in previous years partnering with our distributors. We have been able to evaluate the potential of FESPA Mexico and we consider 2015 as the ideal time for Arlon to have its own booth space. "
Mexican companies also feature heavily on the floor plan, with respected national brands such as Celupal, Segra, HP, Grupo Roma and Gizmo taking significant stands. Demand from both the international and domestic exhibitor communities means that the floor space is filling fast, with 90% of the available exhibition space allocated six months out from the show.
Under the motto 'Reveal a Brighter Print Future', FESPA Mexico will build on its eight-year mission to stimulate Mexican printers to push their businesses to new heights.
Michael Ryan, FESPA's Group Exhibition Manager, explains the sentiment behind the strapline: "When we launched FESPA Mexico in 2007, we were keen to guide the Mexican print community by demonstrating the growth opportunities that could be seized with new generation output devices, contemporary substrates and inks. The market at that time was heavily skewed towards low-price signage and graphics. In the meantime, FESPA Mexico has given printers access to the technology and know-how to offer clients a broader range of higher quality products, and the 2015 event will continue to reinforce this."
Digital textile printing will be a particular focal point of the 2015 show, continuing the rise in direct to textile and sublimation printing exhibits observed in 2014. High levels of visitor interest in textile applications will be addressed through a dedicated Forum within the comprehensive FESPA Mexico educational programme.
The popular FESPA Wrap Masters Mexico will also be back in 2015, with more technical training and installation tips in direct response to 2014 visitor feedback.
