Galipapel will market Sappi's Algro Design product line, a premium solid bleached cartonboard (SBB) whose highly consistent surface, high UV light fastness, and soft silky touch make it an ideal base for every demanding packaging and graphic job.
Sappi’s Algro Design product range is available in three versions:
- Algro Design with a double-coated front and an uncoated reverse side, 160-400 g/m²
- Algro Design Card with a double-coated front and a single-coated reverse, 235-345 g/m²
- Algro Design Duo, with both sides symmetrically double coated, 250-380 g/m²
For applications requiring higher basisweights for greater rigidity Sappi’s Algro Design range is extended by laminated board made with Algro Design carton board under the brand name Algro Duo, available in basis weights from 450 to 710 g/m² produced, sold and distributed by KAPAG (Karton + Papier AG), Muhen (Switzerland).
