Included in the Kavalan portfolio of substrates are a lightweight coated banner material suitable for indoor and outdoor applications, a brilliant white banner material ideal for lightboxes and other backlit applications, a double-sided block-out textile material, a mesh banner material and a coated wall covering material. Manufactured using a water-based coating technology, Kavalan materials are flame retardant, phthalate free and engineered to meet the demanding requirements of modern print, display, and event applications.

Compared to their PVC and textile-based counterparts, Kavalan's PVC-free materials are 100% sustainable, weigh up to 45% less, LCA-certified, and are designed for responsible end-of-life disposal.

Serilon and Kavalan celebrated their forthcoming partnership with the signing of an MoU on the Kavalan Stand on the first day of FESPA Barcelona.

Nova Abbott, Head of Marketing at Kavalan, says: "Real change happens with collective action across the entire supply chain from suppliers and distributors to printers, brands, and creatives. Another key element is accessibility and making it easier for businesses to choose PVC-free materials. That's why this week at FESPA, we're proud to celebrate our forthcoming collaboration with Serilon in Brazil."
