In addition to an extensive range of labels for a wide variety of applications, the company’s packaging portfolio also includes shipping cartons and folding boxes. All products in individual formats can be calculated in a time-saving manner and ordered directly via the new online store. At the start of 2021, flexible packaging with pouches and laminate tubes was also added to their product portfolio. The instillation of an HP Indigo 20000 digital press, which is specially developed for flexible label and packaging printing, will be used for these products.“We have been using HP Indigo digital presses for the production of labels and folding boxes for many years. Our employees are very familiar with the technology and it has been working effectively, hence it was an easy decision for us to expand our machine park with another HP Indigo,” said Stefan Harder, Managing Director of www.Labelprint24.com
Maximum flexibility for a wide range of applications
Thanks to the large substrate variety and a web width of up to 760 mm, the HP Indigo 20000 offers maximum flexibility for print jobs. An advantage of the HP Indigo 20000 that also influenced Labelprint24.com’s decision was the fact that the machine is specially designed to print on foils and laminate tubes. “We installed the HP Indigo 20000 specifically for the printing of packaging foils and laminate tubes. An additional asset is what we consider to be the best digital printing quality, especially with regards to the opaque white HP Indigo Electro Ink Premium White” continued Harder.
In addition to packaging printing, label printing continues to be the company’s most important pillar. Despite the focus of the HP Indigo 20000 being the production of flexible packaging and laminate tubes, this new installation gives Labelprint24.com an additional buffer and allows for maximum flexibility during production.
“We print for all customers who need packaging, whether it be labels, folding boxes, foils or tubes. The print specifications thereby are very different, and it is important to achieve consistent color quality, regardless of which press was used for the production. The HP Indigo technology combines all of this and enables us to achieve high-quality and flexible production, while at the same time maximizing cost-effectiveness,” explained Harder.
