The press is Docuworld’s first digital label press, complementing existing flexo and offset press-lines. The UV inkjet press will be installed at one of its label print factories, this Autumn. According to Sempere, operability was another feature of the press that stood out. The Screen Truepress Jet L350UV+ has a touch panel, providing an intuitive interface that allows all operations to be performed entirely from one place. To clean the printheads, operators simply issue a command from the touch panel’s maintenance screen during startup or shutdown. Automatic head cleaning prevents problems before they occur.
