Originally started as a reprographic printer in 1990, a stone's throw from Charles de Gaulle airport, Roissy Copy took its first step towards large format printing in 2008. At the time, managing director Patrick Boudaud invested in a Fujifilm Acuity flatbed in order to tap into new markets, which the company has been successfully serving ever since.

Nine years and three generations of Acuity later, the company and its team of seven specialists provide customers with advice and an ever wider and more creative range of printed and cut products, which can be assembled at the customer's site.

The areas of application include events, POS, indoor and outdoor signage, posters and vehicle wraps, as well as personalised file folders, calendars and promotional items. Roissy Copy is constantly supplying innovative new products to a loyal clientele including SSP (a leader in railway station and airport restaurant concessions), Airbus, Air France and many local SMEs.

The production site is equipped with a Fujifilm Vybrant printer specialised in printing on vinyl, an Acuity Advance Select flatbed printer, alongside other presses and a variety of finishing tools.

The company's internal policy has always been to maintain a robust cash flow, enabling it to renew and upgrade its production systems and expand the scope of its applications and solutions for marketing and communications.

In late 2016, responding to customer demand for larger formats, particularly for construction site banners, Roissy Copy invested further in both flatbed and roll-to-roll inkjet UV printing. The company added an Acuity Select X2 flatbed and the brand new Acuity LED 3200R roll-fed printer, enabling it to print on rolls up to a maximum width of 3.2m. In fact, it is the very first Acuity LED 3200R to be installed in France following its launch at Viscom Paris in September 2016.

Boudaud is delighted with this latest addition: "The Acuity LED 3200R allows us to print banners and to create very large format visuals, which our customers are demanding more and more often, particularly for events. It has exceeded our expectations in terms of productivity and print quality. Thanks to these two new machines, we can now also handle larger print runs (of 500 or more) without impacting on our production schedule for other work and we will be able to continue to develop new applications, as we have been doing for nearly 10 years now."
